Reverends Richard and Deborah Stiles have been a part of Christ Gospel Church for over 50 years. Rev. Richard Stiles grew up in Dallas, TX; then, at the age of 15, along with his mother, and 5 of his siblings, he moved to Jeffersonville, IN to attend the headquarter church, pastored by Rev. B. R. Hicks. Rev. Deborah Stiles grew up in Tulsa, OK where she attended the local Christ Gospel Church. The Stiles’ met at a Christ Gospel Convention in July of 1969 and married on July 11, 1970, making their home in Jeffersonville, IN. They have been married 46 years and have two sons, Todd and Chris, and four grandchildren, Alex, Allyson, Ethan and Lilliana.

The Stiles have served in the Sunday School Department, with the Youth Ministry, and in the Nursery Department in Christ Gospel Church. They were asked to lead the Singles Ministry in Jeffersonville in 1994, and both were ordained as Ministers. In July of 1996 they moved to Granite City, IL and were pastors and district Elders before transferring to Indianapolis, IN in 1998, where they continued as pastors and district Elders for five more years.

In March of 2003 the Stiles’ returned to Jeffersonville, IN when Rev. Richard Stiles was appointed as the National Administrator for the National churches, and he served in that position for 13 months. From April 2004 until October 2011 Rev. Stiles served as Vice-President of Christ Gospel Churches International, Inc., and he continues to serve on the International Board of Directors for Christ Gospel Churches International, Inc.

In November 2011 Revs. Stiles relocated to Virginia Beach, VA to pastor the Christ Gospel Church and Elder that district for two years. On October 27, 2013 Revs. Stiles were called back to the Indianapolis, IN Christ Gospel Church, where they are continuing to minister as pastors and district Elders.
